Intensive Course "Exercise on Town Planning in Tourism" Tokyo City Center

Field work class "Exercise on Town Planning in Tourism (Tokyo City Center)" conducted, visiting Roppongi Hills and Toranomon Hills.

Roppongi Hills and Toranomon Hills are two of the modern central Tokyo landmarks and center of the major redevelopment in the heart of Tokyo. Officials from Mori Building Co., Ltd., the company which owns both complex buildings, also showed students the joint redevelopment trends in central Tokyo focusing on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Following the visits, Malaysian students gave presentations on the development method of KLCC, Petronas Twin Tower in Kuala Lumpur, comparing it with the way of Tokyo city center's major joint redevelopment and discussing differences in methods as well as common points in both cases.
